Tattoo FAQs
How long have you been doing this?
I got my license and initial training in 2018, since then I have tattooed hundreds of faces and completed multiple courses to improve my skills and techniques. I am a strong believer in continuing education, things change and we find better ways to do them as time goes on. Keeping up with best practices and new and improved techniques is important to me.
Are your pigments cruelty-free?
Yes! The pigments that I use are cruelty-free and vegan!
The pigment lines I use are: Tina Davies & PermaBlend
How long does it last?
After a couple of years without any touch-ups, your eyebrow tattoo may start to fade, this varies from person to person and there is no guarantee that your tattoo will fade with time. Touch ups are recommended no less than every 12 months to retain shape and saturation. I personally recommend that clients come in for touch ups less frequently. Pigment retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, immune system, medications and many other factors. Although microblading is sometimes called "semi-permanent" it is still a permanent change to your appearance, while some of the pigment may eventually fade there is no guarantee that it will fade or completely disappear without tattoo removal. "Semi permanent" does not mean temporary and the term is misleading. Microblading, nano brows, powder brow, lip blush are all methods of cosmetic tattoo.
I price my touchups a little different than most artists, I do not require my clients to come in within a certain timeframe to qualify for a touchup. Touching up less frequently is better for your skin, any tattoo is going to cause some trauma to your skin and over time can cause scar tissue. I recommend waiting 2+ years, this should be doable with proper aftercare. As long as the general shape of the tattoo is visible and I am not starting over completely with the design you will pay the touch up price, if you wait so long that your tattoo has faded to a point where it isn't visible and I am starting from scratch essentially then it will be the new client pricing.
Does it hurt?
I use a very effective topical numbing agent before and during your procedure, so you should be comfortable during your appointment, experiences vary depending on the customer and their pain tolerance. Most of my clients say that they feel no pain during this procedure, this has been my personal experience as well. After the procedure, and during the healing process, your eyebrows may feel tight or itchy (almost like a sunburn).
Is permanent makeup for everyone?
No. Please be advised that there are some medical conditions and medications that prevent clients from getting this service. Occasionally, a doctor's note may be accepted on a case by case basis please contact me about this prior to booking your appointment.
Permanent cosmetics services cannot be performed if: You are under the age of 18, or cannot provide government issued photo ID, you are pregnant or nursing, you are taking immunosuppression medication, you are taking blood thinning medication (including aspirin), you have taken accutane within the last 12 months, you are prone to keloids/scarring, you have had peels/laser/microneedling within the past two months (in the same area), you have had laser resurfacing in the past year, you undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy, you have used products containing retinol within the last 2 weeks.

Lash Extensions FAQs
What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions add length and thickness to your own natural eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural and will not change or damage your natural eyelashes.
How long do they last?
When applied by a trained professional using quality products, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, fills should only be required every 2 to 3 weeks. Most of my clients come in at 3-3.5 week intervals.
Will they damage my natural lashes?
No, as long as they are applied by a licensed and trained professional. I apply the extensions to your healthy natural lashes, and do not overload them with extensions that are too long or too heavy for your natural eyelash. My number one priority is lash health, if your natural lashes are not strong enough for the desired length/fullness that you want I will be honest with you and will not apply lashes that could cause any damage to your natural lashes.
Caring for your lashes is extremely important, if you have dirty lashes with tons of build up this also adds weight and can cause lashes to get stuck together which can be damaging. You must diligently care for your lashes, or don't get them at all.
Is it safe?
Yes - as long as you are going to a reputable lash artist! I use professional grade adhesive that is designed specifically for eyelash extensions. The adhesive only comes in contact with your eyelashes, not your skin. Synthetic eyelashes adhere about 1mm away from your skin (directly on to your natural eyelash), so most clients will not have any issues. It is possible to be allergic to the lash adhesive, it’s pretty rare. If you have allergies or sensitivities please consult your doctor prior to getting eyelash extensions, I can provide an ingredients list prior to your appointment if requested.
Can I swim, shower or visit a spa with lash extensions?
Yes! The adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. Swimming in chlorinated pools and salt water may cause you lashes to fall out faster and may require more frequent fills. Keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions and how is it done?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes about 2-3.5 hours for a full set of lashes and 1-2 hours for a fill. You will be laying down with your eyes closed for the duration of the appointment. During application, your lower lashes will be covered and the extensions will be applied only to your upper lashes one at a time. Many clients fall asleep during their appointment.
If you are worried about getting bored or restless I recommend scheduling for a time of day where you'll be most relaxed, for example: early in the morning before coffee or after work. I always have music playing, and I take requests! You can bring headphones to listen to a podcast or audio book (I love podcasts so we can absolutely listen to one on the speakers if you want, too!)
